Who We Are

Our processing plant are built around the smallholder farmer.

The Starch Mills was built to close the gap between Zambia's cassava belt and the starch buyers of food, paper, textile and pharmaceutical industries. Every root is traceable back to the farmer who grew it.

  • In-house quality lab testing viscosity, moisture and purity on every batch
  • Solar-assisted drying yards reducing energy cost and drying time
  • Warehousing and road-linked logistics for regional and export delivery

Rasping

Extraction

Centrifugal separation and settling tanks isolate pure starch milk.

Drying

Flash and solar-assisted dryers bring moisture down to spec.
